After her graduation from the high school in Tallahassee, Florida she started her studies at Boston University. Later, her studies were transferred to Rhodes College and University of Florida. Since she was young, her passion for performance arts led to training for both dancing and acting. In 2006, Lucy's Piano was her first performance. The college she attended was her last in order to relocate to LA to pursue an acting career. In 2009, after playing an important role for the film 17 Again, Alice McKee was featured as the lead character in Blood: The Last Vampire as the leading role. It was 2009 when she got her first big break in television when playing the part of Alice McKee on the action fantasy film Blood The Last Vampire. In addition, she appeared in key roles in series including Terra Nova Go On and Selfie. More recently, she appeared playing one of the lead characters in the drama about families show titled A Million Little Things and an additional part in the show titled 13 Reasons Why.
