Tommy Lee-1-819x1024Thomas Lee Bass, a Greek-American musician, who was an original member of Motley's heavy metal group, is an American-Greek-American musician. In addition, as the drummer of the group for the longest time, Lee created the rap-metal band Methods of Mayhem and has been involved in solo projects. Lee is a staunch supporter of animal rights as well as PETA. Lee wrote Terry Prather in protest of Tilikum's treatment of the animal in 2010. Lee believed that the animal should be freed and stated that SeaWorld will not comply considering that Tilikum is their main donor of sperm. Lee expressed his displeasure and was appalled by SeaWorld's sick and devious methods of obtaining Tilikum Sperm. Lee said he wanted to avoid further tragedies of trainers getting killed, because the causes of these deaths were the whales' fear of captivity.
