Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue Elis Taylor is an American stage and screen actress and producer. She is best known as an actress in films for her role as a character in Ray Undercover Brother (Ray Undercover Brother) and The Mentalist. She graduated with a B.A. with a major in African-American Studies, from Brown University. Her MFA is in acting from Tisch School at New York University. Aunjanue Ellis is an American actor and producer working in the fields of theater, film as well as television. Aunjanue. Ellis started her acting career in theatre. Later, she appeared in television series along with independent and mainstream films. Her most well-known role was Miranda Shaw on ABC's Quantico and was a part of the epic BET series The Book of Negroes for that she was not only rewarded with critical acclaim but also numerous awards and nominations including the Television Critics Choice Award nomination for the Best Actress in a Film. In 1995, she made her debut in the role of Ariel on stage in The Tempest. Her stage credits comprise Come and Gone Drowning Crow and Seeking the Genesis, a Broadway production directed by Joe Turner. Film-wise she is most famous for roles such as Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express or The Help. Her most well-known role is her role on ABC's crime show High Incident.
